Sir Uwem Jonah Useh is a renowned environmental professional and musician. Born in Ikot Umo Essien Village, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, he has over 20 years of experience in environmental resources management and climate change mitigation. As Assistant Director and former Head of Climate Change Mitigation at the Federal Ministry of Environment, Nigeria, he coordinated several national projects. He is also the Director of Music at the Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Kubwa, Abuja, and has composed several gospel anthems and hymns. Sir Uwem has received several awards, including the Best Creative and Innovative Writer in the Federal Civil Service of Nigeria (2016) and the Knight of Charles Wesley, KCW (2018). He is married to Lady Mercy, Ph.D., and they have three children.
